The lavish garden with it’s decorative tile fountains and benches and ever changing floral plantings holds a special place in the hearts of many. Designed by San Diego architect Richard Requa in 1935 the garden is patterned after the gardens of Alcazar Castle in Seville, Spain, lies adjacent to the Art Institute and Mingei Museum.
