The perfect location to showcase the San Diego Art and studio of RD Riccoboni, one of America's favorite artists. The cities most famous train station was constructed in 1915 to compliment the buildings for the Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park which commemorated the opening of the Panama Canal. It was built by architects, Bakewell and Brown in a Spanish Revival architectural style. The Santa Fe Depot now surrounded by glass condominium and office towers continues to service the public with regular trains headed for Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. In 2007, Amtrak declared this historical station as the ninth busiest Amtrak station in the United States.. It is located On Broadway in downtown San Diego near the corner of Pacific Coast Highway.
